Likewise, if you have a question yourself you should start your own topic, not attempt to derail from the OP's question by posting your own questions in the comments. I have a home camera system installed and everything has been peachy for a year and a half. My app stopped being able to connect to my DVR box roughly a week ago. The only event I can think of that may have triggered my problem is shutting the breakers off to my office when I had to do some electrical wiring on a light switch. I can connect through my homes wifi, but not outside my network. Figuring this was a router issue I started with double checking the app still works and updating it and trying a different version. I've tried Night Owl HD and Night Owl X (both iOS) and have deleted and re-added the device without any success from outside my network. I have double checked the apps have access to cell data. Okay, I guess this confirms it's a router issue. The frustrating thing is I have changed absolutely nothing within my router settings recently. Ports remain forwarded, and the static IP address for the DVR is set to DMZ.
